NiSi JetMag Pro Matte Box Kit with Carbon Fiber Top Flag (95MAG)

Description

The NiSi JetMag Pro Matte Box Kit with Carbon Fiber Top Flag (95MAG) brings professional light control to lenses with 82mm to 95mm filter threads. It pairs the 140g JetMag Pro Matte Box and its removable carbon fiber flag with three dedicated 95MAG adaptor rings, so photographers and filmmakers can shape light across their 82mm to 95mm lenses with one matte box and one set of JetMag Pro 95MAG filters, without adding bulk to a gimbal or handheld rig.

One Matte Box for Your 82mm to 95mm Lenses

Built around the JetMag Pro 95MAG system, this kit gives you the matte box and the adaptor rings to use it on every lens with a 82mm, 86mm, and 95mm filter thread. Fit a ring to each lens and the matte box clamps on in seconds. The included Matte Box Bag carries the matte box and rings. Add the 95mm Clamp-On Cine Lens-95MAG ring, sold separately, to fit cinema lenses with a 95mm outer diameter.

Three Dedicated 95MAG Adaptor Rings

The kit includes the 82mm, 86mm, and 95mm to 95MAG rings, each engraved For Matte Box. The 82mm and 86mm rings step their threads up to the larger 95MAG magnetic mount, while the 95mm ring converts directly with no step up in size. Screw one onto each lens and they all share one set of 95MAG filters. Unlike the standard JetMag Pro adaptor rings, they are made specifically to fit the matte box’s clamp-on mount, so the matte box sits stable and secure.

Precision Light Control

Stray light is the fastest way to lose contrast, and the matte box blocks it before it reaches the glass. The matte interior absorbs reflections to keep contrast consistent across the frame, cutting flare and veiling glare so images stay sharp and punchy even when you are shooting into the light or under mixed practicals.

Removable Carbon Fiber Top Flag

The top flag shades the front element from overhead sun and hard practical lighting, delivering clean, high-contrast frames in backlit conditions. Made from carbon fiber, it is light, rigid, and easy to remove or replace, so a damaged flag never takes the whole matte box out of service.

Lightweight Design That Holds Steady in the Wind

At just 140g the matte box is stabilizer-ready, adding light control without upsetting gimbal balance or weighing down a handheld rig. Airflow channels on both sides cut wind drag for extra stability during fast movement, whether you are shooting from a moving vehicle, a drone, or into coastal wind.

Secure Clamp-On Mount for Fast Setup

The clamp-on mount attaches in seconds and holds firm once locked, so the matte box stays square to the lens through fast-paced shooting. On 95MAG setups the order matters: clamp the matte box onto the ring first, then attach your filters. To take the matte box off, remove the filters first, then release the clamp.

One Kit for Video and Photography

Because it runs on the JetMag Pro system, the kit works with the full 95MAG filter range. Landscape photographers can stack ND and CPL, filmmakers can reach for VND or Black Mist, and creative shooters can add Black Magic Diffusion or Cross Screen 4x without changing hardware. One matte box, all your filters.

JetMag Pro Magnetic Speed with Patented Locking Security

Filters snap into place magnetically and come off just as fast, so you can react to changing light instead of fumbling with threads. The patented locking mechanism then holds the stack firmly, keeping filters secure in wind, spray, and hurried handovers, even with several filters mounted together.

Whether you are balancing a bright sky on a landscape shoot, running a gimbal through a fast-moving scene, or moving between lenses on a video set, the NiSi JetMag Pro Matte Box Kit with Carbon Fiber Top Flag (95MAG) gives shooters working with large 82mm to 95mm lenses serious light control in one package. It is the missing piece between your JetMag Pro 95MAG filters and the image you had in mind.
