How it works

Three moves, then shoot.

One adapter per lens. After that every JetMag Pro filter in your bag fits, whatever it is threaded for.

Find your adapter

Fit the adapter

Thread one JetMag Pro adapter onto the lens and leave it there. Sizes run from 39mm up to 112mm.

Snap the filter on

The magnets pull the filter into place on their own, square to the lens, in about a second.

Twist to lock

Rotate until the handle meets the white line. The filter is now mechanically locked, not just held by magnets.

On in a second

Strong magnets catch the filter and seat it square on the adapter. No threading, no cross-threading, no fumbling in the cold while the light goes.

One twist and it is locked

Turn the handle to the white line and a mechanical lock engages. Point the camera down, hand it to someone, hike with it on the rig: the filter stays where you put it.

Stack them, lock them together

Add a CPL under an ND, or a diffusion over both. Each filter locks to the one beneath it, so a stack behaves like a single piece of glass.

Slim enough to stay out of frame

The frames are thin enough to run two filters on a 15mm full frame lens with clean corners. The comparisons below are straight out of camera.

One set of filters, every lens

Buy the filter once at the size that suits your biggest lens, then add a cheap adapter for each other lens. Adapters run 39mm to 112mm, including the MAXMAG bayonet lenses.

Before you buy.

Which size should I buy?

Buy the filter at the size of your largest lens thread, then add a step up adapter for every smaller lens. Most kits are built around 82MAG, which covers the majority of full frame zooms. Lenses with a bayonet hood and no front thread use MAXMAG.

Will the filters stay on during a shoot?

Yes. The magnets hold the filter while you seat it, then the twist lock holds it mechanically. It is designed for handheld work, gimbals and hiking with the camera on a strap.

Can I stack more than one filter?

Yes. Filters lock to each other as well as to the adapter. Two filters on a 15mm full frame lens still show clean corners, as in the comparisons above.

Do I need a new set for every lens?

No. One adapter per lens is all you need, and adapters are the cheap part. The filters move between lenses.

Can I leave the filter on in my bag?

Yes. The front cap clips onto the filter, so the whole assembly stays on the lens and goes in the bag as it is.

What is the glass and frame made from?

Optical glass with NiSi nano coatings on both surfaces, in an aluminium frame. The coatings repel water and oil, so spray and fingerprints wipe off.
