The NiSi 112mm Circular True Color Pro Nano CPL Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8S is designed for the brand new Z series 14-24mm f/2.8S lens from Nikon. The Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8S uses a 112mm standard screw-in filter with the included HB-97 lens hood that comes with the lens. The True Color CPL prevents the yellow cast introduced when using regular CPLs.
The NiSi True Color CPL is designed to reduce glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces, increase saturation and vibrancy in the sky and foliage while ensuring true color reproduction is at its best by eliminating the warming effect that many polarisers create. Our True Color CPL removes the warm tone seen with other brands of CPL filters and provides a closer true color representation of the scene. The True Color CPL features a unique two-tone frame with a silver back ring, black front ring and both are made from high-quality aluminum. NiSi’s True Color CPL utilizes Cine seal technology which blackens the edge of the CPL for added durability. This technology reduces the influence of temperature fluctuations and keeps out condensation.
A Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter into what appears as haze. A polarizing filter arranges, and filters, this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies, foliage, and allows the camera to capture what is under the surface of shallow water.
Our proprietary NiSi Pro Nano Coating helps to reduce unwanted reflections and provides a waterproof and scratch-resistant layer to assist in the cleaning of unwanted fingerprints, dust, and water stains.
NiSi’s ultra-thin filter adopts a double-sided, multi-coating lens technology that employs high-quality optical glass. The NiSi 112mm Circular True Color CPL Filter has an exclusive “U” type anti-reflective Nano coating and a hardened waterproof coating.

Excellent filter. A must have for the Z Nikkor 14-24 S.
The color is different and not as intense from the previous version.
The only thing I don’t like is the new knurling is too large when using it with the Z Nikkor 14-24 S. It’s more difficult to turn the ring to dial on the filter. Before the filter was much easier to rotate when paired with the included Nikon HB-97 lens shade/filter holder that comes with the lens. The previous version was simply perfect. Also, very easy to remove from the Nikon HB-97 lens shade by clicking on the release.
The new silver knurling I guess was put in place for those not using it with the Z Nikkor 14-24 S and had a hard time unscrewing the filter.
I think there should be 2 versions of this filter just for that reason. Especially since this is sold as being specifically for the Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8S.
